Richter won a pair of singles matches and was 1-1 in doubles as the Bobcats went 1-1 on the week. The senior from Berlin, Germany, opened with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Young Harris’ Meghna Mallath at #2 singles and partnered with Emma Fleming to beat YHC’s Mallath and Freke 6-1 at #1 doubles. GC won the match 7-0 to improve to 2-2 in conference play. Richter followed that up with a 6-4, 6-4 upset of #24 Maeva Roquebert of #15 Tampa at second singles. She and Fleming fell at #1 doubles to Roquebert and Williams 7-5 as Tampa went on to win the match 4-3. Richter is 11-4 in singles play this year, 10-4 at #2 singles which is the second-best winning percentage in the PBC among all players at that spot. She is 13-5 at #1 doubles.
