Panchal went 1-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles play in two matches last week. The freshman from Upminster, England, opened with a 6-1, 6-3 win over North Greenville’s Naomi Sakakibara at #3 singles. She partnered with Emily Ineson to win at #1 doubles against NGU’s Berger and Hill 6-1. Against #45 Augusta, she helped Lander secure the doubles point as she partnered with Raquel Acco at #2 doubles to beat AU’s DeMiguel and Croda 6-4. Panchal is 8-2 overall in singles play and 10-3 in doubles.
