Washington finished in ninth place at the Montevallo Falcon Classic, her first career top-10 result. The senior from Waycross, Ga., ran the 5k course in 19:41.57, less than 10 seconds out of the top five. It was the 11th fastest 5k run in the Peach Belt so far this season and her efforts helped the Cougars to a fourth-place finish in the 12-team field.
