Men's Soccer
Player - Alex Rodriguez, Clayton State (So., MF, Valladolid, Spain)
- Scored two of the four Laker goals in two conference games last week as the team went 1-0-1 to remain atop the PBC standings
- Scored the opener, which proved to be the game-winner, against North Georgia...also scored the goal in a 1-1 tie against Lander
- Leads the PBC with seven goals on the season and is tied for the league lead in game-winning goals...also leads the conference in points and is second in assists
Defender - Fasaikou Jammeh, USC Aiken (Jr., D, Bronx, N.Y.)
- Guided a Pacer defense that recorded back-to-back conference shutouts against Lander and Georgia Southwestern
- USCA held Lander to four shots on goal and caught the Bearcats offsides three times in a 0-0 tie...the Pacers kept Georgia Southwestern off the board after posting an early goal to win 1-0, playing a man down over the final five minutes
- USC Aiken has three shutouts in their last four games, all against conference opponents...the Pacers are second in the PBC in team goals allowed average and lead the league with seven shutouts
Goalkeeper - Felipe Mattos, USC Aiken (Fr., GK, Sao Paulo, Brazil)
- Played all 180 minutes in two games last week, not allowing a goal in a scoreless tie against Lander and a 1-0 win over Georgia Southwestern
- Made 11 total saves in the two games combined, starting with four against Lander...made seven saves against Georgia Southwestern
- Leads the PBC in shutouts per game, saves percentage and saves per game...is ranked third in goals allowed average
Women's Soccer
Player ofthe Week - Andrea Fernandez, Flagler (Sr., F, Pozoblanco, Spain)
- Scored seven goals with five assists in two conference wins last week...had a hand in had a hand in all four Flagler goals to help wipe out a 2-0 USCB lead. She assisted on the first goal, scored the equalizer, and then scored the next two goals for insurance in a 4-2 win on the road
- Added four goals and four assists, in a 16-0 rout of Albany State, to tie a program record in those two categories and her 12 points in the match was a program best
- Leads the Peach Belt with 17 goals on the season, moving into fourth place on the PBC's All-Time goals list with 69 in her career...also leads the league in assists with 10 and now has 42 in her career, just one shy of the PBC All-Time record...leads NCAA Division II in goals per game
Defender of the Week - Alizee Bursei, North Georgia (Jr., D, Marietta, Ga.)
- Played all 180 minutes in two conference games last week as the Nighthawks' defense shut out Clayton State in a 3-0 win and held the top-scoring offense in the nation to one goal in a 1-0 loss to Columbus State
- Marked Clayton State's Carrie Consolino, the leading goal-scorer in the nation, and kept her from attempting a shot...the UNG defense also held Columbus State to season lows in goals, shots, points and shots on goal
- UNG is fourth in the PBC in team goals against average and recorded their fourth shutout of the season...UNG has held opponents to one or fewer goals in nine of their 13 games
Goalkeeper of the Week - Heidi Harris, Columbus State (Jr., GK, Suwanee, Ga.)
- Played 163 shutout minutes over two conference games last week, picking up a shut out in a 1-0 win over North Georgia
- Played 73 minutes in a 5-0 win over Georgia Southwestern...made three saves in the win over North Georgia as CSU captured the regular-season championship
- Has not allowed a goal in her last 387:08 minutes in goal...leads the Peach Belt and is ranked 20th nationally in goals allowed average...is tied for second in the league in shutouts
Volleyball
Player of the Week - Katie Miller, Lander (Sr., OH, Sugar City, Idaho)

Had two more dominant performances as the Bearcats went 2-0...averaged 5.00 kills and 5.17 digs per set in matches against UNC Pembroke and Lenoir-Rhyne with a .378 hitting percentage

Had 17 kills with just one error and 15 digs in a 3-0 win over UNCP, adding three assists...had 13 kills and 16 digs in a 3-0 sweep over LR, adding two blocks

Leads the PBC and is ranked 15th nationally with 4.22 kills per set...also leads the league in aces, is ranked fifth in hitting percentage and seventh in digs per set
Specialist of the Week - Clare Sheedy, Flagler (Jr., S, Plymouth, Ind.)
- Recorded her seventh double-double of the season with 48 assists and 13 digs in a 3-1 conference win over Augusta in Flagler's lone match last week
- The 48 assists is the most in a four-set match in the PBC this season and third-most in all matches...she also had an aces and two total blocks
- Leads the PBC with 9.34 assists per set...also fourth in the league in aces per set
Men's Golf
Golfer of the Week - Martin Gruendemann, Columbus State (Grad., Hamburg, Germany)
- Won the McCoy Wright Currahee Collegiate Invitational with rounds of 72-72-70 for a two-under 214
- His efforts helped Columbus State to their first team win of the season in a 16-team field that featured seven nationally-ranked teams and 19 nationally-ranked players
- Jumped nearly 50 spots in the national rankings and now is #50 in NCAA Division II
Women's Golf
Golfer of the Week - Jordyn Hodgson, Flagler (Sr., Orlando, Fla.)
- Hodgson won the Flagler Fall Slam and finished fourth at the St. Simons Intercollegiate
- Fired 72-68 at the Fall Slam for a four-under 140, winning the event by three strokes...shot rounds of 76-72-73 at St. Simons for a five-over 221, one stroke out of third
- Has two top-five results in three events this fall...is second on the team and third in the conference with a 72.38 stroke average...is ranked #21 in the nation by Scoreboard
