NORMAN, Okla. – The 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars and PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award for NCAA Division II have been announced by the GCAA. Fourteen PBC golfers have been named All-America Scholars, with Lander leading with way with four selections. Georgia Southwestern, North Georgia and USC Beaufort each received three selections and USCA received one selection. Four PBC teams, Georgia Southwestern, Lander, North Georgia and USCA, also received team recognition.
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate’s degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team’s competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 78.0 in NCAA Division II, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university. 209 NCAA Division II athletes from 77 schools earned 2025-26 Cobalt All-America Scholar honors. 22 NCAA Division II schools had at least four recipients, including Catawba (5), Eckerd (5), Miles (5), Rockhurst (5), St. Mary’s (TX) (5), and West Florida (5). Tiffin and UMSL tied for the most recipients from one school in NCAA Division II with six.
A GCAA-record 331 schools across six divisions earned a PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award for having an average team GPA of 3.0 or better. 155 schools received Presidents Special Recognition for having an average team GPA of 3.5 or above in 2025-26.
