GREENWOOD, SC -- Eight Peach Belt Conference baseball players have been named All-Region by the Division II Conference Commissioners' Association (D2CCA). Five of the eight were named first-team All-Region and are now eligible for All-America consideration.
PBC Tournament champions Georgia College & State University led the league with four selections, including three on the first team. Georgia Southwestern and Lander added two each.
The D2CCA All-Region teams are selected by athletics communication professionals from the Peach Belt, Conference Carolinas and the South Atlantic Conference.
