Player of the Week
Cesar Rubio-Amaya, Georgia Southwestern
Senior, Forward
  • Scored a goal in each game this week increasing his scoring streak to eight games
  • Scored the opening goal of the game in a 2-2 tie with #24 Flagler
  • Scored the lone goal for GSW in a 6-1 defeat to Lander
  • Rubio-Amaya leads the PBC is goals (9), goals per game (1.125), points (18) and points per game (2.25)
  • As of Thursday 10/02, Rubio-Amaya is second in NCAA Division II in goals scored and goals per game
Defensive Player of the Week
Josh Murray, Lander
Sophomore, Defender
  • Helped the Bearcats to a 1-0-1 week, playing 167 minutes across two games
  • Part of the Lander defense that held USCA to just 7 shots, 4 on target in a 1-1 tie
  • Scored the second goal in a 6-1 victory vs GSW, and held GSW to 8 shots, four on target

  • Made 13 saves across two games this week as the Lakers went 1-0-1
  • Faced 16 shots, 9 on target and made 8 saves in a 3-1 victory vs RV North Georgia
  • Faced 13 shots, 6 on target and made five saves in 1-1 tie with #22 Florida Tech
  • Roke leads the PBC in save percentage (0.833), saves per game (5.83) and is second in the PBC in goals against with just 7 goals against on the season so far

Amiah Sprunger-Hightower, Clayton State

  • Scored two goals to help the Lakers to a 2-0 week
  • Scored the opening goal in a 2-1 victory vs USCA
  • Scored the lone goal of the game in a 1-0 victory vs Middle Georgia
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Grace McGill, North Georgia
Junior, Defender
  • Scored a goal in each game this week as the Nighthawks went 2-0 and improve their record to 9-0-1
  • Scored the opening goal in a 3-2 victory vs CSU, while holding the Cougars to just 6 shots on target
  • Scored the opening goal in a 2-1 victory vs Lander, while holding the Bearcats to just five shots on target
Goalkeeper of the Week
Leah Hayes Coen, Lander
Junior, Goalkeeper
  • Faced 13 shots, four on target and made four saves in a 1-0 victory vs Flagler, with a penalty kick save in the 82nd minute preserving the shoutout win
  • Faced 12 shots, six on target and made four saves in 2-1 loss to #5 North Georgia
  • Hayes Coen has three shutouts on the season so far

  • Helped Augusta to a 3-0 week this week, and remain undefeated in PBC action
  • Recorded 4.62 digs/ set and 1.54 assists/set across three games
  • Recorded a double-double vs Converse with 10 assists and 17 digs
  • Rodrigues is second in the PBC in digs/set (5.31) and total digs (308) and is leading the way in digs/set (5.69) and total digs (91) in PBC action
