MEN’S SOCCER
Player of the Week
Santiago Cano, North Georgia
Senior, Forward
  • Scored a goal in each game this week, while also adding an assist
  • Scored the second goal to give the Nighthawks the lead in an 2-2 tie vs #4 Anderson
  • Scored and assisted in a 6-0 victory vs USCA
  • Cano is tied for second in the PBC in goals (4) this season so far as he leads the way for the Nighthawks
Defensive Player of the Week
DJ Shin, North Georgia
Senior, Defender
  • Helped the Nighthawks to a 1-0-1 week, with a win vs USCA and tie with #4 Anderson
  • Part of the UNG defense that held USCA to just 6 shots, 3 on goal 
  • Scored the opening goal in the 2nd minute vs USCA, his first goal as a Nighthawk
Goalkeeper of the Week
Ryan Rivas, Flagler
Junior, Goalkeeper
  • Kept two clean sheets in two games this week, bringing his total to five on the season 
  • Faced 16 shots, 7 on target across two games, with seven saves
  • Leads the PBC in goals against average (0.750), shutouts (5), shutout per game (0.625) and is second in save percentage (.813) and saves (26)
  • Third PBC Goalkeeper of the Week award in a row
 
WOMEN’S SOCCER
Player of the Week
Blanca Cruz, North Georgia
Sophomore, Forward
  • Scored 3 goals in two games to improve the #5 Nighthawks to 7-0-1
  • Scored the game winning goal as UNG knocked off Flagler 2-1 midweek
  • Scored two goals in the Nighthawks 4-0 win vs USCA at the weekend
  • Cruz is tied for the most goals (5), most game winning goals (2) and most points (12) in the PBC this season as she is also tied for the lead for the Nighthawks in all three  categories. 
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Alexa Aronoff, North Georgia
Senior, Defender
  • Led the North Georgia defense to just one goal conceded across two games this week
  • Assisted a goal vs USCA while also holding the USCA offense to just 6 shots, two on target in a 4-0 victory
  • Held Flagler to just five shots, three on target in a 2-1 victory
Goalkeeper of the Week
Ciazia Powe, USC Beaufort
Sophomore, Goalkeeper
  • Helped lead USCB to two shutout victories this week
  • Played the second half vs Clayton State where she faced nine shots, with four saves in a 4-0 victory
  • Added four saves in 73 minutes vs Albany State
 
VOLLEYBALL
Player of the Week
Katie Miller, Augusta
Senior, Outside Hitter
  • Tallied 47 kills with 28 digs and a .379 hitting % for 48.5 points across two games
  • Opened the week with 27 kills and 17 digs with a .355 hitting % for 28 points vs GCSU
  • Had 20 kills, and 11 digs on .415 hitting % in a 3-0 victory vs Middle Georgia
  • Miller leads the PBC in points (222.5), kills (190), kills per set (4.22) and service aces (23)
Specialist of the Week
Enisilina Savelio, Lander 
Junior, Setter
  • Dished out 85 assists, 10.62 assists per set across two games for Lander
  • Had a double double vs GCSU, with 45 assists (9.00 APS) and 10 digs along with four service aces
  • Had 40 assists (13.33 APS), six digs and three blocks vs Middle Georgia
 
MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY
Runner of the Week
Nasrudin Mohamed, Augusta
Senior
Nasrudin Mohamed led the Jaguars to a team victory at the GCSU Bobcat Invitational, while also taking home the individual victory. Mohamed covered the 8k course in a time of 25:44.36. 
WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY
Runner of the Week
Madison Thomas, Augusta
Senior
Madison Thomas led the way for the Jaguars with an individual victory in the GCSU Bobcat Invitational. Thomas finished the 5k course in 19:22.83, as she helped Augusta to the first team victory of the season.

Co-Golfers of the Week
Bernard Meyer, Columbus State
Senior
  • Finished T-2 (-4) at the Hurricane Invitational
  • Posted a score of 69 (-3) in the first round, followed by 71 (-1) in the second round and 72 (E) in the final round
Octavio Laurent, USC Beaufort
Freshman
  • Finished T-2 (-4) at the Hurricane Invitational
  • Opened the tournament with a round of 74 (+2), followed by a score of 69 (-3) in the second and third rounds 
 
WOMEN’S GOLF
Golfer of the Week
Henriette Stranda, Flagler
Senior
  • Finished first place at the Eckerd Invitational with a score of 209 (-7), her third career medalist honor
  • Opened the tournament with a 72 (E), followed by rounds of 68 (-4) and 69 (-3)
  • Her par putt on No. 17 gave her a one stroke lead as she held off the second-place finisher by one stroke
