Player of the Week
Elías Pálsson, Augusta
Sophomore, Guard
- Helped Augusta to a 1-1 record on the week, averaging 25.5 points per game
- Palsson had 13 points, two assists, four rebounds and three steals in an 85-74 loss to Lander
- Scored 38 points while adding seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and three blocks in the 80-74 victory over USCA
- Palsson is third in the PBC in points per game with 17.1
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Player of the Week
Averie Jones, North Georgia
Sophomore, Guard
- Helped North Georgia to a 1-1 week, averaging 24.50 points per game
- Jones scored 16 points while adding two rebounds, three assists and a steal in a 61-53 loss to Georgia Southwestern
- Scored a career high 33 points while adding four rebounds, one assist and a steal in a 69-52 victory over Middle Georgia
- Jones leads the PBC in scoring with 434 points, averaging 17.4 points per game, 3-PT field goals per game with 3.0 and 3-PT percentage with .460

Track Athlete of the Week
Kaleb Hollins, Flagler
Senior
- Competed at the GVSU Big Meet
- Ran the 6th fastest 800m in DII this season with a 1:48.76, a PBC record
- Placed fifth in the DMR with a time of 9:52.54
- Hollins met the provisional mark in both the 800m and the DMR

- Placed second in the triple jump at 14.77m

Taylor Roth, ERAU

- Competed at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational
- Finished 15th in the 800m, the top DII performer in her event
- Ran the 11th fastest time in DII this season

- Competed at the Tyron Mid-Winter Invitational
- Threw 11.08m in the shot put, the third farthest in the PBC this season
BASEBALL

George Gilson, Flagler

- Helped Flagler to a 3-1 week and a 2-1 opening to conference play
- Had a .579 batting average, 1.158 slugging percentage and .636 on base percentage for the week
- Posted 11 hits, 12 RBI’s and scored eight runs for the week, going 11-19 at the plate
- Gilson hit three doubles, a triple and two home runs
- Gilson has a .432 batting average, .727 slugging percentage and a .528 on base percentage on the season so far
Pitcher of the Week
CJ Hanson, Flagler
Junior, Pitcher
- Tossed a four-hit shutout in an 11-0 win over CSU to open Peach Belt Conference play
- Struck out 6 while allowing just one walk, retiring nine batters on ground outs and five more on fly outs, holding CSU to a .167 batting average
- Hanson is tied for second in the PBC for wins on the season (2), second for batters struck out looking (7)
Freshman of the Week
Johnny Nutt, GSW
Freshman, Pitcher
- Pitched 7 innings in GSW’s 6-1 victory over USC Beaufort in the series finale
- Retired the first seven batters and set the side down in order three times
- Struck out three and allowed just three hits, holding the Sand Sharks to a .130 batting average
- Ranks sixth in the PBC in opposing batting average (.208) and tied for fourth in fewest hits allowed (10) on the season
SOFTBALL
Player of the Week
Autumn Fisher, USCA
Sophomore, Infield
- Helped USCA to a 4-0 week
- Had a .417 batting average, .917 slugging percentage and .533 on base percentage for the week
- Totaled two home runs on the week, with five hits, six RBIs and three runs
- Leads the PBC in triples (2) and home runs (3), fifth in slugging percentage (.800), and third in runs batted in (12)
Pitcher of the Week
Chloe Poss, North Georgia

- Made two appearances for the Nighthawks this weekend with two wins
- Struck out eight while allowing just three hits in five innings in an 11-0 complete game victory over Barry
- Struck out nine, allowing six hits in 5.2 innings in a 7-5 victory over Barry in game two
- Poss is tied for first in the PBC in wins (4) and batters struck out looking (12), second in batters struck out (30), fifth in opposing batting average (.220) and sixth in earned run average (2.41)
Freshman of the Week
Abbie Kegley, USCA
Freshman, Pitcher
- Went 2-0 on the week with a save, averaging 0.91 ERA on the week
- Struck out five and gave up just two runs in seven innings in a 4-2 complete game victory vs Erskine,
- Picked up her first career save with two strikeouts in 1.1 innings in a 4-2 game two victory vs Erskine
- Struck out 10 in a 3-0 complete game victory vs Lenoir Rhyne
- Gave up 12 hits in 15.1 innings with 17 strikeouts and four walks
- Leads the PBC in earned run average (0.94), batters struck out (43), wins (4) and innings pitched (37.1) and is second in opposing batting average (.186), batters struck out looking (9) and saves (1)
MEN’S TENNIS

Simon Malis, Flagler

- Competed in the ITA DII Indoor National Championship
- Through three matches, went 2-1 at singles and only completed one doubles match
- Won 6-4,6-4 at No. 2 singles vs #9 Azusa Pacific
- Upset #8 Pavlos Parson 6-3, 5-7 at No,1 singles vs #6 Washburn
- Teamed with Noah Paterson at No. 1 doubles winning 7-6 (7-3) vs Washburn
WOMEN’S TENNIS

- Helped Lander defeat Coker 4-3
- Won 6-2, 6-4 at No.1 singles over Ilona Sanchez
- Teamed with Thilda Danielsson at No. 2 doubles to clinch the doubles point with a 7-6(7-5) victory

- Scored a career high 7 goals in the victory over LMU
- Leads the PBC in goals per game (4.50) and points per game (5.50)
Defensive Player of the Week
Alex Egorshin, Montevallo
Senior, Goalkeeper
- Helped Montevallo to a 12-8 victory over #20 North Greenville
- Made 19 saves on 35 shots faced, finishing the game with a .704 save percentage
- Egorshin leads the PBC in saves per game (14.50) and is third in save percentage (.569)

- Lindqvist won the World Golf Invitational at the World Golf Village
- Shot an even-par 216 (73-72-71)
- This marks Lindqvist’s second career win; she took home the Individual Medalist honor after a four-hole playoff with Tampa’s Justine Bayle when she birdied on the fourth playoff hole
