GAINESVILLE, GA. – Embry-Riddle secured their third consecutive PBC Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship on Monday at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center in Gainesville, Ga. The Eagles finished with 234.50 points, outdistancing second-place Flagler with 107 and third-place Augusta with 93.
 
Today’s meet was illuminated by PBC Championship meet records and All-Time PBC records. Embry-Riddles Distance Medley Relay team set a PBC Championship Meet record with a time of 12:13.12. Among Embry-Riddle’s notable performances were Mikaela Miles, who set a meet record in the long jump at 5.73m, before exploding to an All-Time PBC record in the triple jump at 12.83m. Cheyenne Wetch led the way in the pole vault at 3.76m, another All-Time PBC Records. Jade Tchouawou Nayap scored a 1.68m in the high jump and Alex Baltazar-Hall threw a 12.40m in the shot put, both PBC Championship meet records. Miles, Wetch and Tchouawou Nayap all met the NCAA provisional mark in their performances today. 
 
The records didn’t stop there, however. Augusta’s Madison Thomas set an All-time PBC record in the 5,000 meters with a time of 17:26.08. Clayton State’s Destiny Hanna set an All-Time PBC record with a time of 7.73s in the 60-meter prelim. Flagler’s Abigail Misch set an All-Time PBC record in the mile with a time of 4:53.74, along with a PBC Championship meet record in the 800 meters with a time of 2:10.69. Both of Misch’s times met the NCAA provisional marks. Lander’s Tymia Willis set an All-Time PBC record in the 400 meters with a time of 56.36s, a time which also met the NCAA provisional mark. 
 
The NCAA National Championship selections will be announced prior to 6:00pm on Tuesday, March 3^rd.
