MEN'S BASKETBALL
Player of the Week
AJ White, North Georgia
Senior, Guard
  • Helped North Georgia to a 3-0 record on the week, averaging 26 points per game
  • White had 35 points, four assists, two rebounds and two steals in a 84-78 victory vs Clayton State
  • Scored 19 points while adding five rebounds, three assists and a steal in the 78-64 victory over USCA, with all 19 points coming in the second half
  • Scored 24 points while adding two rebounds and an assist in the 78-64 victory over Lander
  • White leads the PBC in scoring, averaging 20.3 points per game
 
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Player of the Week
Averie Jones, North Georgia
Sophomore, Guard
  • Helped North Georgia to a 3-0 week, averaging 19.67 points per game
  • Jones scored 24 points while adding six rebounds, four assists and two steals in an 86-80 victory over Clayton State
  • Scored 19 points while adding 9 rebounds, five assists and a block in a 76-50 victory over USCA
  • Scored 16 points while adding four rebounds, three assists and two steals in a 79-57 victory over Lander
  • Jones leads the PBC in scoring, averaging 16.7 points per game, 3-PT field goals per game with 2.9 and 3-PT percentage with .449
 
MEN'S TRACK & FIELD
Track Athlete of the Week
Will Stone, Flagler
Senior
  • Competed at the Camel City Invitational
  • Placed second in the 800m (seeded) with a time of 1:50.23
  • Placed third in the DMR with a time of 9:51.86
  • Stone's 800m time met the NCAA provisional mark and is the 12th fastest time in DII this season
  • Also met the NCAA provisional mark in the DMR, the 10th fastest time in DII this season
Field Athlete of the Week
Antonio Caito, Embry-Riddle
Senior
  • Competed at the Visit Gainesville Indoor Classic
  • Met the NCAA provisional mark with a jump of 15.51 in the triple jump
 
WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD
Track Athlete of the Week
Marley Tate, Clayton State
Senior
  • Competed at the Carolina Classic
  • Ran the fastest 400m dash time in the PBC this season at 57.60
  • Ran the second fastest 4x400m relay in the PBC this season at 3:59.16
 
Field Athlete of the Week
Kailey Ludwig, Embry-Riddle
Junior
  • Competed at the Visit Gainesville Indoor Classic
  • Had a jump of 3.75m in the pole vault, both a school record and a PBC record
  • Ludwig finished third at the meet and met the NCAA provisional mark
 
BASEBALL
Player of the Week
Sebastian Collender, Middle Georgia
Junior, Catcher
  • Helped Middle Georgia to a 1-1 week
  • Had two hits and two RBIs on 1.00 batting average, 1.00 slugging percentage and a 1.00 on base percentage in a 13-12 loss to Eckerd in game one
  • Had two runs, four hits and four RBIs on .800 batting average, 1.600 slugging percentage and .833 on base percentage including a home run in the 16-6 victory vs Eckerd in game two
  • Sits second in the PBC in batting average (.563), slugging percentage (.875) and on base + slugging percentage (1.527) and is third in the PBC in on base percentage (.652) and runs batted in (11)
Pitcher of the Week
Evan Koehler, Georgia Southwestern
Senior, Pitcher
  • Held #5 North Greenville to one run over eight innings
  • Struck out 11 while allowing just one walk, retiring the side in order three times and striking out the side in the fourth inning
  • Leads the PBC in ERA (0.60), innings pitched (15) and strikeouts (21) and ranks second in opposing batting average (.157) 
Freshman of the Week
Maverick Grigsby, USCA
Freshman, Infield
  • Helped USCA to a 3-1 week, as the Pacers sit at 5-1 on the season
  • Had a .313 batting average, .438 slugging percentage and .389 on base percentage for the week
  • Posted five hits, six RBI's and scored four runs for the week
  • Had a base clearing triple in the 9-4 victory over FMU
 
 
SOFTBALL
Player of the Week
Peyton NamyslowskiGeorgia Southwestern
Senior, Catcher
  • Helped Georgia Southwestern to a 4-0 week
  • Had a .692 batting average, 1.385 slugging percentage and .714 on base percentage for the week
  • Totaled three home runs on the week, with nine hits, eight RBIs and six runs
  • Leads the PBC in home runs (3), batting average (.692), slugging percentage (1.385), on base percentage (.714) and on base + slugging percentage (2.099)
Pitcher/ Freshman of the Week
Abbie Kegley, USCA
Freshman, Pitcher
  • Helped USCA to a 2-2 week, going 2-0 in the circle with 0.00 ERA
  • Tossed a one-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts in the complete-game 4-0 victory over Mount Olive
  • Tallied 12 strikeouts and did not allow an earned run in the complete-game 7-2 victory over Catawba. 
  • Worked a flawless seventh inning in relief in the nightcap vs Catawba
  • Recorded a two-run home run in the 4-0 win over Mount Olive and had an RBI double in the 7-2 victory over Catawba
 
MEN'S TENNIS
Player of the Week
Thomas Cardona, Columbus State
Senior
  • Won two singles matches and two doubles match as Columbus State defeated Auburn-Montgomery and SCAD-Atlanta
  • Won 6-2,6-4 at No.1 singles vs Auburn-Montgomery and 6-4, 6-3 at No. 2 singles vs SCAD-Atlanta
  • Won 6-4 at No. 2 doubles vs Auburn-Montgomery and 6-2 at No. 2 doubles vs SCAD-Atlanta
 
WOMEN'S TENNIS
Player of the Week
Maria Jose Zarza, Lander
Junior
  • Won two singles matches and two doubles match as Lander defeated Emmanuel and Mount Olive
  • Won 6-1, 6-1 at No.2 singles vs Emmanuel and 6-1, 6-0 at No.1 singles vs UMO
  • Teamed with Thilda Danielsson at No. 2 doubles for two straight wins 6-4 over Emmanuel and 6-3 over Mount Olive
 
 
MEN'S LACROSSE
Offensive Player of the Week
Micah Quinn, Flagler
Sophomore, Attacker
  • Helped Flagler to a 14-8 victory over Lynn
  • Scored 5 goals with 1 assist for six points in the victory over Lynn
  • Tied for third in the PBC with 2.5 goals per game
Defensive Player of the Week
Mitchell Festi, Lander
Senior, Goalkeeper
  • Helped Lander to a 13-11 victory vs Coker
  • Caused three turnovers and picked up six ground balls in the victory vs Coker
  • Festi set career-highs in both categories and led all players in each category for the game
  • His six ground balls and three turnovers are both tied for second most in the PBC this season
