Georgia Southwestern remain in the lead in the PBC Men’s Golf Championship heading into the final round at the King & Bear Golf Course. The ‘Canes shot 297 on day two but continue to hold a strong lead. USCA jump into second alongside Columbus State, nine strokes behind the leaders heading into the final round.
Georgia Southwestern’s Sam Brown moves into top spot in the individual leaderboard following a score of one-under 71 in the second round. GSW’s Sacha Corlouer moves down to second following a second round 77 to sit at even par heading into the final round.
Georgia Southwestern remain in the lead in Par 3 scoring with a 3.08 average on Par 3s through day two. The ‘Canes also lead Par 4 and Par 5 scoring with 4.23 and 4.53 averages. Georgia Southwestern lead with 36 birdies in the tournament so far, while North Georgia and USCA share the lead with 113 pars.
Georgia Southwestern’s Sam Brown and Sacha Corlouer lead Par 3 scoring with a 2.88 average. Flagler’s Patrick Herron is leading Par 4 scoring averaging 4.00 on Par 4s. Columbus State’s Ian Pienaar leads the way in Par 5 scoring, averaging 4.13.
USC Beaufort, North Georgia, Lander and GCSU are set to tee off for the final round beginning at 7:40am tomorrow.
