The Peach Belt Conference has announced the 2026 women’s tennis All-Conference teams ahead of this weekend’s PBC Tournament play. Post season awards are nominated and voted for by the league’s coaches. Coaches are not permitted to vote for their own players. Columbus State’s Nikoline Gullacksen was named PBC Player of the Year, North Georgia’s Olesya Stokusova was named Freshman of the Year and Columbus State’s Evan Isaacs was named Coach of the Year. Lander’s Evelyn Altmaier receives the Elite 18 Award, given to the player participating in the championship with the highest cumulative GPA.
PBC Player of the Year
Nikoline Gullacksen, Columbus State
Senior
- The senior from Helsingor, Denmark went undefeated at #1 singles in conference play with a 6-0 record
- Currently ranked #12 in the nation by the ITA, Gullacksen has a 15-2 overall record at #1 singles this season, with notable wins over #8 Rivera (West Ala), #12 Pour (AUM), #15 Opolska (UNG), #19 Kruk (Flagler), #41 Oktiabreva (Wingate), #70 Beckx (Valdosta)
- In doubles play, Gullacksen boasts a 10-7 overall record and 5-1 record in conference action. Gullacksen has a 5-2 record alongside teammate Monika Temkova and 5-4 record alongside teammate Claudia De Lucas
- Gullacksen is the fourth Cougar to be named PBC Player of the Year, and the sixth time a Cougar has received the award.
PBC Freshman of the Year
Olesya Stokusova, North Georgia
Freshman
- The freshman from Omsk, Russia ended conference play with a 5-1 record at #2 singles
- Currently ranked #34 in the nation by the ITA, Stokusova has a 16-2 overall record at #2/3 singles this season, with notable wins over #11 Borlee (Flagler) and #27 Rosselini (ERAU)
- In doubles play, Stokusova boasts a 14-5 overall record and 5-1 record in conference action alongside teammate Anastasiia Opolska
- Stokusova makes history as the first Nighthawk to be named PBC Freshman of the Year for women’s tennis, and is just the second Nighthawk to receive a major award, joining Angelina Linnikova, who was named PBC Player of the Year in 2025
PBC Coach of the Year
Evan Isaacs, Columbus State
27th Season
- Isaacs, the winningest coach in Peach Belt Conference men’s tennis history, claims PBC Coach of the Year for the sixth time
- Isaacs led Columbus State to a 15-4 record on the season and a perfect 7-0 record in conference play
- The Cougars enter the post-season on a nine-game winning streak, ranked #9 in the nation by the ITA
PBC Elite 18 Award
Evelyn Altmaier, Lander
Senior
- The PBC Elite 18 Award is presented at each of the PBC's 18 championships to the student-athlete competing with the highest cumulative GPA
- Competed in 18 matches this season for Augusta
- Had a 10-4 record in singles, going 8-3 at #2 singles and 2-1 at #1 singles
- In doubles play, Altmaier posted an 8-6 overall record. Alongside teammate Maria Jose Zarza, the pair boasted an 8-3 record, winning six of their final seven matchups
- Ended conference play with a 4-3 singles record and 4-2 doubles record
