Georgia Southwestern Fifth, Columbus State Ninth After Opening Round of NCAA Golf Championships

BOULDER CITY, NV. – Columbus State, Georgia Southwestern and USC Beaufort's Octavio Laurent opened play at the 2026 NCAA Championships on Monday. Georgia Southwestern is tied for fourth at five under and Columbus State is in ninth at even par following the opening round in Boulder City, Nevada.

Columbus State's Ian Pienaar leads all PBC individuals as he closed the opening round tied for seventh at 4-under. Georgia Southwestern's Jordan Jones is tied for tenth individually at 3-under. USC Beaufort's Octavio Laurent is tied 19th at 2-under par. The opening round closed with three individuals tied for the lead at six under par.

West Texas A&M and Missouri- State Louis are tied for the team lead at 10-under par following day one of play. 

Alongside Jordan Jones, Georgia Southwestern teammates Sacha Corlouer and Oscar Hammar both sit at 1-under par, Stefan Rojas sits at even par and Sam Brown sits at 2-over par. 

Columbus State's Bernard Meyer sits at even par following the opening round. Teammates William Partner and Bryant Vail sit at 2-over with William Partner sitting at six-over par. 

Play continues with the second round on Tuesday. Georgia Southwestern will tee off at 2:10pm, Columbus State will tee off at 3:05pm and Octavio Laurent will tee off at 4:55pm.
