DAYTONA BEACH, FLA -- Embry-Riddle won their eight straight Peach Belt Conference men's outdoor Track & Field Championship on Tuesday. The Eagles scored 238.5 total points, edging out Augusta who was second with 126.5 and Clayton State who were third at 106.5.

Embry-Riddle's Eli Enney placed third in the 400 meters with a time of 48.85 and finished fifth in the 200-meter final with a time of 22.23. With his performances, Enney was named the Freshman Track Athlete of the Year.

Embry-Riddle's Carter Vance finished first in the hammer throw. Vance threw a mark of 47.51m and was named the Freshman Field Athlete of the Year.

Lander's Michael Balkman took home three gold medals, winning the 200m and 400m alongside the 4x100 meter relay. Balkman was named Men's Outstanding Track Athlete of the Year. 

USC Beaufort's Samuel Mitchell took home two gold medals, finishing first in both the long jump and triple jump. Mitchell was named Men's Outstanding Field Athlete of the Year. 

Clayton State's Davonte Jackson placed second in the 100m hurdles and the 400m hurdles, along with third place finishes in both the long jump and triple jump to be named Track & Field Athlete of the Year.
