NORMAN, OK - Five Peach Belt Conference men's golf teams have been ranked in the Preseason Bushnell/Golfweek DII Coaches Poll, released by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). #3 Georgia Southwestern, #5 Columbus State, #14 North Georgia, #15 USCA and #21 USC Beaufort. Lander and Flagler also recevied votes.
#3 Georgia Southwestern captured their second PBC championship in four seasons last spring and advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championships, where they reached the match-play quarterfinals. GSW returns five golfers from last season's Peach Belt Conference championship squad in
Sam Brown,
Sacha Corlouër,
Elias Järn,
Jordan Jones and
Stefan Rojas. Brown, Jones and Corlouër all earned PING All-America honors last season.
#5 Columbus State closed their season at the NCAA Division II National Championships where they reached the match-play quarterfinals. The Cougars returning class is highlighted by PING All-American William Partner. Partner is joined by
