Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week: Taylor Mackenzie, Augusta

Mackenzie picked up right where she left off last fall: in first place. The junior from Leesburg, Ga., won the Spartanburg Eye Opener in impressive fashion, clearing the field by over 30 seconds and covering the 5k distance in 18:19.8. She finished ahead of a pair of runners from the University of South Carolina and two more from Wofford to take the title, keeping her streak alive of winning every race she has entered in an Augusta uniform, including the 2020 PBC Championship. Taylor earns her fourth Runner of the Week honor.
