AUGUSTA, GA -- The Peach Belt Conference has announced the 2025 women's tennis season preview featuring the coaches' preseason poll and All-Conference team.
For the third year in a row, Flagler sits atop the coaches' preseason poll. The Saints were PBC regular-season co-champions in 2024 and ranked #8 in the nation. After a strong fall season, Flagler is currently #7 nationally.
North Georgia had their best season in program history in 2024, reaching the NCAA national semifinals after winning their first PBC tournament title. UNG went 25-2 in dual match play last season and begin this season ranked #6 in the nation by the ITA.
Columbus State was third in the coaches' poll with GCSU fourth followed by Lander, Augusta and Georgia Southwestern.
The coaches' poll is below, followed by the preseason All-Conference team. Coaches were not permitted to rank their own team or vote for their own players.

Preseason All-Conference Team
Nikoline Gullacksen, Columbus State
- A junior from Helsingor, Denmark
- Reached the ITA Cup semifinals in singles this past fall and begins spring 2025 ranked #3 in the nation in singles by the ITA, the highest rank of any PBC player
- A 2024 ITA All-American in doubles, she was also named first-team All-Conference in doubles and second team in singles...went 17-1 in singles play last season with a 6-0 mark against conference opponents and 16-3 in doubles
Dana Heimen, Flagler
- A junior from Ketsch, Germany
- A 2024 ITA All-American, she was also a first-team All-Conference selection in singles and doubles...reached the semifinals of the ITA Cup last fall in singles
- Was 11-6 in singles play last spring, all at #2...went 12-5 in doubles including a 10-1 mark at #1 doubles with Nadja Meier...duo were ranked as high as #4 in the nation...currently ranked #5 in the nation in singles and #21 in doubles
Angelina Linnikova, North Georgia
- A senior from Irkutsk, Russia
- Reached the ITA Cup singles final in the fall of 2024 and begins the spring 2025 season ranked #4 by the ITA...also ranked #18 in doubles with partner Carolina Reis
- A 2024 ITA All-American, she was also named first-team All-Conference in singles and second team in doubles...ITS Southeast Region Player to Watch...PBC Tournament doubles MVP...went 22-4 in singles last season, all at #1, including a 3-2 mark against nationally-ranked opponents
Mariana Ramirez, Columbus State
- A graduate student from Pereira, Colombia
- Currently ranked #9 in the nation in doubles with partner Nikoline Gullacksen heading into spring 2025, the highest-ranked doubles tandem in the PBC...won the doubles title at the ITA Southeast Regional Championship last fall
- A 2024 ITA All-American in doubles, she was also a first-team All-Conference selection in singles and second-team in doubles...went 16-3 in doubles play and 10-7 at #1 singles
Carolina Reis, North Georgia
- A senior from Caldas Da Rainha, Portugal
- Reached the ITA Southeast Region doubles final last fall to advance to the ITA Cup...set a school record for doubles wins with a 22-3 mark last season
- Went 4-1 in doubles play in the 2024 postseason which included a PBC Tournament title and run to the NCAA national semifinals...is currently ranked #18 in the nation in doubles with Angelina Linnikova
Jada Young, Georgia College & State University
- A senior from Hilton Head Island, S.C.
- A 2024 PBC first-team All-Conference selection in singles and doubles
- Went 12-10 in singles play last season, all at #1 singles, including a 4-2 mark in conference play...reached the fourth round of singles in the ITA Southeast Regional last fall
