Player of the Week - Phillip Ard, North Georgia (Jr., 1b, Cochran, Ga.)
- Had four base hits on the week but drove in eight runs with two homers and a double...doubled and drove in a run in the midweek against Young Harris
- Had a sac fly RBI in the opening game of the conference sweep of USC Beaufort...hit a three-run home run in game two and another in game three
- Leads NCAA Division II with 53 RBIs on the season and holds the conference lead by 14....also leads the PBC with 11 home runs and a .743 slugging percentage
Pitcher of the Week - Drew Rosenberg, Flagler (Jr., Orlando, Fla.)
- Made two relief appearances and earned two wins against Rollins and USC Aiken...pitched 4.3 innings in all with four hits and one earned run allowed with no walks and seven strikeouts
- Ptiched 1.2 innings against Rollins with two hits and one run allowed with three strikeouts...pitched 3.1 scoreless innings against USC Aiken, allowing only two hits and striking out four
- Is 3-0 on the season with a save and a 1.96 ERA over 12 appearances...has 19 strikeouts in 18.1 innings of work, holding batters to a .194 average
Freshman of the Week - Roland Chance, Augusta (Fr., INF, Brunswick, Ga.)
- Hit .500 with a 1.167 slugging percentage in a three-game conference sweep of Claflin...had two doubles, two home runs and five RBIs
- Collected hits in all three games, going 2-for-3 in the opener with a solo home run...went 3-for-4 in game two with a homer and a double with four RBIs
- Has five home runs on the season, tied for second on the team...is also third on the squad in slugging percentage
Softball
Player of the Week - Reese Snipes, Flagler (Sr., 1b, Port Orange, Fla.)
- Batted .600 (6-for-10) with a pair of home runs, six runs batted in, and she scored five runs as Flagler swept a PBC series from USC Beaufort...finished with a 1.200 slugging percentage and a .600 on-base percentage
- In the opening game Friday night, Snipes went 2-for-4 with a grand slam to give Flagler a 4-0 lead in a 6-3 win...in the first game Saturday, she hit an RBI single... went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in game two and she scored three runs
- Currently eighth in the PBC in batting average and is third in doubles
Pitcher of the Week - Chloe Poss, North Georgia (Jr., Thomson, Ga.)
- Pitched her first complete-game shutout in a 7-0 win over Union, setting a career-high with 11 strikeouts....pitched another complete-game win over Georgia Southwestern with three earned runs allowed and six strikeouts
- Had a 1.50 ERA in 14 innings of work with 17 total strikeouts and just four walks
- Currently ranked sixth in the PBC in ERA and strikeouts...also fifth in the league with eight wins on the year
Freshman of the Week - Alyssa Hunter, Flagler (Fr., P, Highlands Ranch, Colo.)
- Went 2-0 in two starts last week with a six runs and six strikeouts in 10 innings against USC Beaufort
- Pitched a complete-game in a 6-3 win over the Sand Sharks, allowing three earned runs while striking out four...pitched three innings of a 18-5 five-inning win, striking out two
- Currently second in the PBC in victories, sixth in innings pitched, seventh in opponent batting average and eighth in ERA
Men's Lacrosse
Offensive Player of the Week - Trace McDonald, Flagler (Jr., Attack, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.)
- Led the 10th-ranked with four goals and nine assists in wins over Palm Beach Atlantic and Lynn...also added four ground balls and two caused turnovers
- Had three goals with four assists against PBC in a 15-11 win...took 10 shots in the game with six on goal...had a goal and five assists against Lynn...the five assists is tied for the most in a game in the PBC this year
- Leads the PBC and is ranked 13th in NCAA Division II in assists per game...is also seventh in the league in goals per game and fourth in points per game
Defensive Player of the Week - Alex Egorshin, Montevallo (Jr., GK, Hoover, Ala.)
- Had his fourth consecutive game of double-digit saves with 19 in a 22-11 win over William Jewell
- Played all 60 minutes with two ground balls and a .633 saves percentage....is his fourth game of the season with 19 or more saves, giving him four of the top five single-game save totals in the PBC
- Currently leads the PBC and is eighth in NCAA Division II in saves percentage...also leads the league in saves per game
Women's Golf
Golfer of the Week - Henriette Stranda, Flagler (Jr., Kråkstad, Norway)
- Won the Emerald Coast Collegiate with a nine-under par 204 after rounds of 69-65-70 to help lead #2 Flagler to the team victory
- Her second-round 65 is a program record and is tied for the lowest round in Peach Belt Conference history...also broke the school record for lowest 54-hole score
- Won her second event of the season and has finished in the top 10 in all seven tournaments she has played...currently ranked #7 in the nation by Scoreboard and is second in the PBC with a 71.58 stroke average
Men's Golf
Golfer of the Week - Oscar Abrahamsson, USC Aiken (Sr., Gothenburg, Sweden)
- Won the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate in a playoff after shooting rounds of 74-64 to finish two-under 138 in the rain-shortened event
- Defeated Campbell's Henric Bjelke in the playoff for his second tournament win of the season...helped lead the Pacers to a second-place finish in the 15-team field that featured 14 Division I teams
- His 64 is tied for the fifth-lowest score in Peach Belt history
Women's Tennis
Player of the Week - Mariana Ramirez, Columbus State (Grad., Pereira, Colombia)
- Won the match-deciding point against #13 Wingate with her 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-0) rally against Fernanda Castillo at second singles
- Partnered with Nikoline Gullacksen to defeat the #1 Wingate doubles team of Kotara and Kosmrlj 6-4...led her matches in singles and doubles against #11 Catawba, but both were unfinished when the match was decided
- Improved to 3-1 at #2 singles and 3-2 at #1 doubles
Men's Tennis
Player of the Week - Simon Malis, Flagler (So., Ostrava, Czech Republic)
- Partnered with Ilian Borlee to defeat the #1 doubles team in Division II with a 6-3 win over Saint Leo's Cohen and Iriarte...his singles match against #7 Vincent Thiel of Saint Leo was unfinished as Flagler won 4-0
- Won doubles and singles points in a sweep of Jefferson, playing at first position in both
- Improved to 6-2 in singles play this spring in dual match play...9-1 in doubles...currently ranked #12 in the nation in doubles
Women's Outdoor Track & Field
Track Athlete of the Week - Nakhia Montgomery, Columbus State (Jr., Blakely, Ga.)
- Ran the fastest 100 and 200 meter races in the Peach Belt so far this season at the Falcon Classic Multi
- Finished in third place in the 100 for her first podium of the season with a time of 12.14 seconds...ran the 200 in 25.39 seconds
Field Athlete of the Week - Deandra Downer, Columbus State (Jr., Loganville, Ga.)
- Finished in fifth place in the triple jump at the Falcon Classic Multi
- Hit a jump of 10.90m on her third attempt, the longest in the Peach Belt this season...also ran in the 200m
