Player of the Week - Jack Hobson, USC Aiken (So., OF, Sarasota, Fla.)
- Hit .588 with a 1.471 slugging percentage over four games last week with four home runs and 13 RBIs
- Hit .714 in a three-game sweep of USC Beaufort...hit for the cycle in the opener, driving in four...went 3-for-5 in the second game with two home runs and 3-for-5 in the third with another home run and four RBIs
- Currently fifth in the PBC in slugging percentage, sixth in RBIs and is second with 16 home runs on the season
Pitcher of the Week - Dylan Noce, North Georgia (Sr., RHP, Dacula, Ga.)
- With everything on the line, Noce pitched 6.1 scoreless innings in the third game at GCSU on Sunday, leading the Nighthawks to the 3-0 win which clinched a share of the regular-season championship and the tournament #1 seed
- Scattered four hits and four walks with four strikeouts...stranded seven baserunners in total including six in the first three innings
- Has allowed the seventh-fewest runs in the PBC and fourth-fewest walks...improved to 5-0 on the season
Freshman of the Week - Luke Miller, Columbus State (Fr., OF, Cartersville, Ga.)
- Hit .500 in a three-game sweep of Claflin with a double, a triple and five RBIs...had a .750 slugging percentage and a 1.397 OPS
- Went 2-for-4 in the opener with a double and a triple for three RBIs...also scored three runs...went 3-for-4 in game two with another RBI and had another RBI in game three
- Tied for fourth in the PBC in triples...is hitting .331 on the year with 10 doubles, four home runs and 33 RBIs
Softball
Player of the Week - Holly Lynn, Columbus State (Jr., C, LaGrange, Ga.)
- Hit .714 in a three-game sweep of Georgia Southwestern with a 1.286 slugging percentage, one home run and five RBIs
- Collected hits in all three games, going 3-for-3 in the second game with a home run and three RBIs...went 1-for-2 with a double and two RBIs in the third game
- Leads the PBC in walks drawn and is tied for second in home runs with 15 on the season
Pitcher of the Week - Lily Miller, Columbus State (Fr., RHP, Grovetown, Ga.)
- Was one hit away from tossing a no-hitter against Georgia Southwestern in a 5-0 win to open the series on Saturday...pitched a seven-inning shutout with one walk and three strikeouts
- Completed the game with 89 pitches thrown...gave up a single in the first inning and no hits afterward...retired 17 batters in a row until a walk in the seventh
- Currently third in the PBC in ERA, fifth in opponent batting average and tied for seventh in wins
Freshman of the Week - Abrianna Green, Columbus State (Fr., 3b, Beulah, Ala.)
- Hit .571 with a 1.429 slugging percentage, two home runs and two RBIs in three games against Georgia Southwestern
- Collected one hit in each of the first two games, then went 2-for-2 in the third game, hitting two home runs in a 4-1 win...scored three runs on the week
