All teams in the mini conference have the same head-to-head, and no ties were broken. The next step is to compare each team’s results vs the highest seed not involved in the tie and continue until the tie is broken.
- All three teams lost all three games to #1 North Georgia, so the process moves to the #2 seed which will be either USCA, Columbus State, Lander or Flagler depending on the results from this weekend.
- Columbus State Scenario: If Columbus State is the next highest seed, all three teams have a 1-2 record vs CSU so the process would move to the next highest seed.
- Lander Scenario: If Lander is the next highest seed, all three teams have a 1-2 record vs Lander so the process would move to the next highest seed.
- USCA Scenario: If USCA is the next highest seed, Augusta lost all three games meaning they are no longer tied and would be out of PBC Tournament contention. GCSU and Middle Georgia would remain tied as both had a 1-2 record vs USCA and would begin the tiebreak process with head-to-head results, where GCSU would receive the #7 seed and Middle Georgia would receive the #8 seed.
- Flagler Scenario: (Note: in order for these three teams to be tied, Augusta would lose all three games to Flagler). If Flagler is the next highest seed, GCSU has a 1-2 record and would no longer be tied, receiving the #7 seed. Middle Georgia and Augusta both lost all three games vs Flagler and would remain tied and begin the tiebreak process with head-to-head results, where Middle Georgia would receive the #8 seed and Augusta would be out of PBC tournament contention
